Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve picked up a couple of new bits which I thought I’d share with you.
Firstly, I was looking for a peachy under-eye corrector to cover up the eye bags caused by exams, so I picked up this one from MUA. I’m loving it so far because I’m super pale, and it’s not too dark for me! I’ve tried others in the past which are just too dark for me. It’s a little oily, but I have very dry skin, so for me that’s not a problem at all.
Aaaaand then after running out of my Bourjois radiance reveal concealer, I decided to pick up a couple of new ones to try for under my eyes. I picked up the Rimmel Match Perfection and Wake Me Up concealers, both in the lightest shade. So far, I am loving the match perfection for under my eyes- it doesn’t crease or cake up on me! Absolute godsend. I haven’t had much chance to play around with the Wake Me Up yet, but will get back to you once I have!
When I went to Poundland, I saw a packet with these two Barry M eyeshadows inside and was very excited about it. Neither are incredibly pigmented, but with a little setting spray, look gorgeous. I believe they’re shades 7 and 8, but it’s hard to tell from the packaging!
I also had a moment of weakness in Primark, when I saw this matte lipstick/gloss duo I was intruiged. It has a matte lipstick on one end, and a matching gloss on the other. I have to say I love the formula of both. The matte lipstick is comfortable, and the gloss is super smooth and (thankfully) not sticky. Naturally, the gloss doesn’t have fantastic wear time, but it does look pretty.
Finally, I picked up this Natural Collection lipstick in Raspberry, and I am in love. The colour is STUNNING. It is so smooth, and hydrating. It feels almost like a balm, but with the pigment of a lipstick. It doesn’t have fantastic staying power, because it’s so creamy but I don’t care because it wears gracefully. And it was only £1.99, so now I need more of these lipsticks.
And that rounds up everything I’ve picked up recently! Have you guys picked anything up? Let me know in the comments!
Hugs and squeezes,
